The production of the outer shell for Nolan and Grex brand helmets occurs trough LEXAN™* polycarbonate injection moulding process.
The outer shell is moulded in two sizes - smaller for sizes XXS-M and larger for sizes L-XXXL. This is how we achieved the lowest weight, the lowest aerodynamic drag and the best fit to the head, regardless of the driver's figure.
The large surface of the S/R (Scratch Resistant) visor makes it possible to have a broader view, also lateral, thus assuring maximum riding comfort and increasing active safety.
Variously colored visors are also available as an option (at extra charge).

This system has been designed to provide comfort for wearers of glasses. It allows space in the cheek pads for temples to quickly and easily be obtained. It is reversible, so the cheek pads can be returned to their original state.
The inner padding in expanded foam for the cheek pads has been designed in order to provide superior even pressure and consistent performance over time compared to traditional padding. It can also be removed from its fabric coverings, in order to make washing of the latter easier.
The helmet can be fitted with a wind protector under the chin (optional at extra charge). It works against drafts and unpleasant infiltrations of air under the chin, which contributes to a better feeling in the helmet.
The chin strap is equipped with an automatic Microlock buckle, which, thanks to the toothed tab, allows extremely precise, micrometer adjustment of the buckle.
Nolan and Compaco provide replacement parts, consumables and service at all times, even for older helmet models.
